What is DiscipleBee?
DiscipleBee is a spiritual maturity assessment tool that helps disciples of Jesus nurture their growth across four habits — Gather, Grow, Give, and Go — offering personalized insights from assessments taken while also supporting discipleship groups through shared notes, prayers, and meaningful accountability as you walk out core practices of the faith.
How does the assessment work?
You answer a series of reflective questions across the four habits. Your responses produce a maturity score and personalized feedback, along with suggested next steps for growth.
Are my selections from my previous assessment visible if I retake an assessment?
Yes. When you retake an assessment, you'll first have the option to pre-fill it with your selections from your most recent assessment or start fresh with a blank assessment. Pre-filling lets you quickly accept your previous answers as-is or adjust only the ones that have changed, so each retake builds on your last results rather than starting from scratch.
Can I create goals from my assessment results?
Yes. From your assessment results, you can turn any personalized step or area of growth into an actionable goal, with an optional due date to keep you on track.
Can I receive email reminders for completing my goals?
Yes. You can turn on email reminders from the Settings feature in your profile menu and choose how often you'd like to be nudged about your goals.
Can I see which question the personalized feedback was for?
Yes. Tap the info (i) icon next to any feedback on your assessment results to see the question it relates to.
Is AI used in DiscipleBee?
Yes. Your personalized feedback is generated using AI based on your assessment responses and the four habits (Gather, Grow, Give, Go). The AI only works from your own answers and trusted, biblically-grounded guidance curated by DiscipleBee—your data is never shared, sold, or used to train external models, and you can revisit or re-take your assessment anytime.
Are my responses private?
Yes. Your assessment results are visible only to you unless you choose to share them. Notes are private by default, and shared notes are visible only within the group you select.
Can I share my assessment with others?
Yes. You can email your assessment results to anyone you choose, directly from your results page.
What are discipleship groups?
Discipleship Groups represent any small group or relationship in your life that helps you grow as a disciple of Jesus. DiscipleBee allows you to manage your interactions within these groups by creating and sharing notes—whether reflections, devotions, or prayer requests. Group owners invite members by email, and only those members can see and discuss shared notes.
Can I respond to a note that is shared with me?
Yes. Open a shared note and use the reply box to add a comment. Other group members can see and reply to your responses, so the conversation stays in one place.
Can I download notes?
Yes. You can export your notes as a PDF in two ways: download a single note by opening it and tapping the Download button, or download a collection from the Notes page by tapping the Download button there and choosing all of your notes, only your private notes, or the notes from a specific group.
How can I delete notes that I did not create?
Only the owner or creator of a note can permanently delete it. However, any member of a group can hide a note so that it no longer appears in their own Notes view — this removes it from your list without affecting it for others. Hidden notes can be restored at any time from the 'Show Hidden' option on the Notes page.
Do I need to pay to use DiscipleBee?
DiscipleBee is free to use. Core features including assessments, goals, notes, and groups are available at no cost.
